Description

A smooth and bold pomegranate and beet juice made with a juicer. The apple adds sweetness while ginger and lemon give it a bright finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 medium beet, scrubbed and trimmed
  • 1 large sweet apple
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • ½ lemon, peeled

Instructions

1. Prepare the Produce

Wash all ingredients. Cut the beet and apple into smaller pieces to fit in your juicer. Peel the lemon if needed.

2. Juice the Soft Ingredients

Start juicing with the softer ingredients like apple and lemon.

3. Juice the Remaining Ingredients

Alternate between pomegranate seeds, beet pieces, and ginger to help everything move through smoothly.

4. Stir the Juice

Stir the juice to mix all the flavors together.

5. Serve Immediately

Pour into a glass and drink immediately.

Notes

Makes about 10 to 12 ounces of juice depending on your produce.

You’ll need the seeds from one medium pomegranate for this recipe.

To get the best sweetness, go with an apple like Fuji, Gala, or Honeycrisp.

Use a smaller beet or add another apple if you want a sweeter taste.

Add more ginger or the other lemon half if you prefer extra zing.

No juicer? Blend with ½ cup water, then strain using a sieve or nut milk bag.
