This is one of the easiest slow cooker recipes you’ll make. Just 5 ingredients go into your crockpot, and the result is tender, flavorful chicken that’s perfect over rice, mashed potatoes, in sandwiches, or on its own. It’s great for busy weeknights, meal prep, or feeding a crowd.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 pepperoncini peppers
- ¼ cup juice from the pepperoncini jar
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), cut into pieces
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Pour the pepperoncini juice over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly on top.
- Add the pepperoncini peppers on and around the chicken.
- Place the butter pieces on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and easy to shred.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks, stir to coat in the sauce, and serve.

Tips
- Chicken thighs also work well and stay juicy with longer cook times.
- Use unsalted butter to avoid making the dish too salty.
