If you’ve got 5 minutes and a bag of frozen ravioli, you’re halfway to dinner greatness. This Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is going viral on Pinterest because it’s cozy, cheesy, low-effort, and totally family-approved. It’s giving lasagna vibes without boiling noodles, layering 10 things, or using every pan you own. Just dump, layer, and walk away. Let the crockpot do its thing while you live your life.
Serves: 10
Total Time: 5 mins prep + 4 hrs slow cook + 15 mins rest
What You’ll Need:
- 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli (25 oz)
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey if you’re feelin’ light)
- 3 cans crushed tomatoes (15 oz each) or your fave pasta sauce
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp garlic salt (or garlic powder, we don’t gatekeep)
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (yep, all of it)
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (fancy sprinkle on top)
How to Make It:
- Brown That Beef: Toss the ground beef in a pan and cook until browned. Drain the fat (we don’t need that extra grease).
- Make It Saucy: Stir the tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt into the beef. Boom. Sauce = done.
- Layer Like a Pro: Spray your 6 or 8 qt crockpot. Add a scoop of meat sauce. Lay some frozen ravioli on top. Sprinkle that mozzarella like you mean it. Repeat layers till it’s all used. End with sauce on top.
- Cheese Crown: Finish with the rest of the mozzarella and a lil’ parmesan.
- Set It & Forget It: Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours. If your ravioli is fresh, go for 3 hours instead.
- Let It Chill (kinda): Once it’s done, let it sit uncovered for 15–30 mins so it sets. Otherwise, it’ll slide all over the place (still delish though).
- Scoop & Serve: Serve it up with fresh basil if you’re feeling ✨fancy✨. Or not. It’s amazing either way.

Hot Tips
- Don’t thaw the ravioli. Trust me.
- Use all the cheese. No such thing as too much.
- Let it sit after cooking so the layers don’t fall apart.
Fun Swaps & Add-Ins
- Try spinach ravioli or sausage ravioli for a twist
- Mix in some frozen meatballs if you’re feeling wild
- Add fresh spinach or zucchini for a healthy moment
- Use spaghetti sauce instead of crushed tomatoes if that’s what you’ve got
What to Eat With It
- Garlic bread (duh)
- Caesar salad or whatever greens you’ve got
- Roasted veggies if you wanna be extra
- Microwave broccoli if you’re in survival mode
Leftovers = Bestovers
- Fridge: Store in a container for 4–5 days.
- Freezer: Freeze for up to 3 months. Just thaw overnight and reheat.
- Reheat: Microwave it in 1-minute bursts or warm in the oven at 350°F.
